Mauro Roglieri is an Electrical engineer with a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy, Decentralisation of Energy Production and Energy Efficiency from Politecnico di Milano (RIDEF Energia 2005) and also a LEED Green Associate. After many years of consulting and management experience, in 2011, Mauro founded a consultancy and engineering company, MR Energy Systems, which is also an ESCo and an innovative startup. Through consulting and engineering services, MR Energy Services helps companies and public authorities to save money while taking care of the environment by lowering their energy consumption and CO2 emissions. MR Energy Systems specialises in Policy Development, Carbon & Energy Management, Green Building and Sustainable Mobility. Mauro’s has also worked as a Consultant at Accenture, a Business Developer for energy related services in a large engineering company, and as a Unit Manager in Ecofys – a multi-national consultancy with headquarters in Utrecht. In February 2011, He was elected as member of the Steering Committee of Green Building Council Italia, and since January 2012, has also been part of the executive board. The GBC promotes LEED certified sustainable buildings and cities. Mauro is also part of the World GBC – European Network – Policy Task Force.
